If you approach a slower vehicle, the system slows the Blazer to maintain the preset distance. When the slower vehicle is no longer in front of you, the Blazer returns to the preset cruising speed.
Forward-Collision Alert
The Chevy Blazer’s available forward-collision alert warns you if a vehicle slows down in front of you and you’re approaching too quickly. It can also alert you if you’re following the vehicle ahead of you too closely. If the system detects a front-end collision is imminent, the available automatic emergency braking will apply the brakes to slow the Blazer to help mitigate damage.
